Electric Energy Delivery

TXU Electric Delivery, a regulated subsidiary of TXU Corp., delivers electricity using traditional transmission and distribution capabilities, regardless of the retail electric provider from whom consumers choose to purchase their electricity.

Natural Gas Delivery and Supply

Atmos Energy Corporation provides service to a portion of the Sunnyvale area with 16" and 24" transmission lines.  Industrial gas customers may continue to call the TXU Gas phone number (877) 460-7067 or may contact a Builders/Developers representative or Commercial Service representative through the Atmos Energy website.

Telephone

AT&T services the local and intra-lata long distance telephone calling area in Sunnyvale, using the latest information systems technology. They provide network access lines to various inter-lata long distance carriers. Sunnyvale is in the 972 area code, and phone service is local to the Dallas metropolitan area.

Media

Nine broadcast television stations and thirty-eight AM and FM radio stations serve Sunnyvale.

Cable TV and Internet services are provided by Comcast, and the area is covered by several metropolitan newspapers, including The Dallas Morning News and Sunnyvale Gazette (contact: editor@SunnyvaleGazette.com).
