The Sunnyvale 4A Development Corporation Board will Meet at 6:00 P.M. ON THURSDAY FEBRUARY 10th, 2011 IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF THE SUNNYVALE TOWN HALL; 127 N. COLLINS ROAD, SUNNYVALE, TEXAS under V.T.C.A., Government Code Section 551.041.
1. Call to Order the meeting.
2. Executive Session Agenda:
a. Pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to discuss and deliberate commercial or financial information from a potential business prospect that the Board is seeking to locate or expand in the Town; to deliberate the offer of financial or other incentive to a business prospect generally located within the Town of Sunnyvale in the vicinity of T.C. Lupton, S. Collins Road and U.S. Highway 80.
3. Consider any action as a result of the Executive Session
4. Adjournment
The Sunnyvale 4A Development Corporation Board will Meet at 7:00 P.M. ON THURSDAY FEBRUARY 10th, 2011 IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF THE SUNNYVALE TOWN HALL; 127 N. COLLINS ROAD, SUNNYVALE, TEXAS under V.T.C.A., Government Code Section 551.041.

2. Focus Group 1 Discussion between Directors of the Sunnyvale 4A Corporation and selected guests discussing…. Funding of economic incentives to encourage development is a responsibility of the 4A Corporation. What does the Sunnyvale 4A/Town need to do to encourage new commercial investment in Sunnyvale and how should the 4A Corporation decide what incentive opportunities to fund?
3. Focus Group 2 Discussion between Directors of the Sunnyvale 4A Corporation and selected town citizens and businesses concerning local option election concerning beer and wine ballot propositions and related issues.….. The restaurant industry is stating that today, a key location factor is the opportunity for restaurants to sell beer and wine at their place of business without a club license. Grocery stores are indicating through new store openings and local support of beer & wine referendums that the sale of beer and wine is critical for new stores to expand to new towns. These businesses have stated that their business models demand they bypass cities and towns without the beer and wine opportunity. What as town citizens and business owners would you suggest that the Sunnyvale 4A Corporation do to assure the citizens that this type of business activity will not deteriorate the neighborhoods or Town quality of life or the opposite view that Sunnyvale ignore the restaurants and grocery stores with this position?
4. Focus Group 3 Discussion between Directors of the Sunnyvale 4A Corporation and selected guests discussing ….someday soon Sunnyvale will have to choose or deal with the location of 190 through Sunnyvale. What should the Sunnyvale 4A Corporation/Town be doing today to address that location in the future?
5. Focus Group 4 Discussion between Directors of the Sunnyvale 4A Corporation and
Selected guests discussing ……. People who live in Sunnyvale may have plans for a business or work for a company with expansion or relocation plans. What specific action steps do your recommend to the Sunnyvale 4A Corporation to take to encourage these residents to bring their businesses to Sunnyvale?
6. Focus Group 5 Discussion; Directors of the Sunnyvale 4A Corporation will select guests who will be allotted 3 minutes to address one of the four focus group subjects.
