Sunnyvale Begins Marketing Program

The Sunnyvale 4A Corporation has begun the initial steps in developing a marketing program for businesses in Sunnyvale. Working with an e-based company, SKEDS, we have established a web site program to allow businesses in Sunnyvale to participate by offering information about their business and even a coupon to encourage shoppers to shop Sunnyvale. This is a no cost program for Sunnyvale businesses. Sign up your Sunnyvale business today!

1. Go to www.SKEDs.com.
2. Click on Choose Community, then click on the Shopping Sunnyvale logo.
3. Then click on Sign up your Business.
4. Follow the directions to set up your username and password.
5. Provide your general business information, add logo or photo (this is important!)
6. Add a coupon to attract new customers

Sunnyvale – Certified Film Friendly

The Town of Sunnyvale has been certified a Film Friendly Texas Commnity by the Texas Film Commission.  This was achieved through efforts of the Sunnyvale 4A Corporation, Town Council and many cooperating property owners in the Town.  Individuals assisting and representing Sunnyvale attended a training course, the Town Council passed a special ordinance regulating commercial filming in Sunnyvale, and a photographic portfolio of representative properties in the Town were presented to the Texas Film Commission. 

With its new Film Friendly designation, the Town of Sunnyvale is open to welcome the business of the filming industry in the community. This certification enables property owners in Sunnyvale to attract filming opportunities from the film industry and to bring new dollars to the property owners and Town for these economic opportunities.
